With respect to Named User licensing, there is no difference between using ArcGIS Pro in a virtualized or nonvirtualized environment. To start ArcGIS Pro with a Named User license in a virtualized environment, you must be a member of an ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise organization and must be assigned a GIS Professional user type or ArcGIS Pro add-on license. If your license manager is running on an EC2 instance, ArcGIS Desktop will no longer be licensed if the license manager instance is restarted, as restarting the instance changes its name. Note when using license manager from the Cloud:
